Diving into this novel, I didn’t really hope much. Since I am new to this cooking theme, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I just hoped it to be good. I am glad that this novel managed to stay on that line of my expectation.

Synopsis

Review
For me, the novel overall was a good read. It very closely followed the food Isekai template with Female Main Character. The main character is a reincarnated person from the earth. She gets betrayed by her fiancé and remembers her life on Earth. There’s nothing to be sad about because that guy was an idiot and she ends up getting what she desires because of the conflict. Don’t expect anything serious in this novel.
World: The world in this story is a typical Isekai world with magic. There’s not much to say about the story as in the first volume of this novel, the author only has described a small part of the world. There are many kingdoms with different kinds of people and cultures living in them and there’s a threat of demons. Much of the world remains to be discovered.
Character: There are very few characters in this novel with important roles, and they are crafted finely. We have the main character, Leticia, even before discovering her previous life’s memories, she was an intelligent girl doing her utmost to become the Queen. After discovering her memories, her personality did change a little. But it didn’t affect her vastly. The male lead here seems a bit lacking in terms of character overall. We have the typical “Cold” male lead here. I wish there was more to his character. But I also understand that it’s only the first volume. The conversation between them is filled with humor and cuteness. There are side characters who play important role in the story. There are animal characters in the story as well who fills his novel with fluffiness and sweetness. One example would be:
What could possibly be more cuter than a cat eating with a spoon!? Like this, there are many cute and sweet moments with cooking in between.
Conclusion: Comparing this novel with The Angel Next Door Spoils me Rotten in terms of cuteness, this novel is much better. Besides, this main character will manage to win your heart with her intelligent and childish personality. Her cooking will definitely grow your appetite as the author does a good job in describing the process of Leticia’s cooking. They are vivid. There’s not much romance in the first volume of this story. Looking forward to the second volume.
In a nutshell, If you like a laid back, low-conflict, slice of life cooking story filled with cuteness and fluffiness, then this story is made for you.
