Welcome to the Weekly Series Post where I discuss about various web novels, light novels, comics, manhwas, manga and many others that I read this week.
Feel Free to comment about your readings and opinions about them.
Weekly Series #4 [ August 15 to August 21 ]
This week I didn’t get to read much because of my internship and the preparation for the exams.
Agenda of the Villainess [ Novel ]
The story revolves around Alicia Senius who wants to find the way to change her fate. She is the daughter of the duke and the future villainess. During the Blooming ceremony to awaken her magical ability, she awakens her memory of her past life and gets to know her fate of becoming a villainess which would lead to her doom.
This novel was a great read. It has good writing and grammar, good story development, and interesting characters. The author has done a lot of research in Victorian era. We can see many details while reading.
It is different from usual villainess novel. This has a solid story and unique take on the genre.
As the daughter of a duke, Lady Alicia Senius expected to awaken her latent magical ability during her Blooming ceremony. She was not expecting her connection to the flowers of Fate to awaken memories of a past life, however, and certainly not memories that were somehow inextricably tied with her future. Now, Alicia must find a way to escape the fatal punishment that is the destiny of a villainous noble girl. In doing so, she might even alter the fate of the whole world.
This novel is a steampunk take on the otome villainess genre, heavily inspired by the late Victorian era of England and with a system of magic based around floweral circuitry. If that sounds like your cup of tea, why not give it a shot?
Dreamland Adventure [ Comic ]
This comic is your usual guilty pleasure read with the mix of Ecchi, romance, action and adventure.
I liked the reading the novel more because there are few details mixed in the comics.
Howard, the lowly office employee, is stuck at the bottom of the corporate ladder until a chance encounter with the mimic dream system changes his life! Now he can access all the adventure he ever wanted: having adventures, fighting monsters and living with his gorgeous but fierce boss! The mission, as always, is to be attractive but independent, bold but sensitive.
