Weekly Series #5 [ Sep 15 to Oct 23 ]

First of all, sorry for being inconsistent with this weekly series. I thought I would do this series weekly (hence the title) but because of various factors like exams and internship, I didn’t have any time to do read the novels and manhwas and write about them.

Now Let’s get started.

Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years follows Han Jue who is reincarnated in the cultivation world and once he starts to cultivate, he cultivates all the time without going out, getting in the fight and staying away from any troubles. The main theme is just that the main character cultivates all the time and is always overpowered.

This novel was a fine read. This cultivation based series was fast paced. That speed was the main reason I read this novel, otherwise I do think I wouldn’t have made it past 5 chapters.

I also liked the determination of the main character, the way events unfold, the functions of the system and the characters in this story.

The story does gets repetitive and boring few times but because of the fast pace of the story, it honestly didn’t matter to me.

Give this story about try if you love Overpowered main character who does nothing but cultivates all the time.

I Shall Live As a Prince [ Manhwa ]

I shall live as a Prince Manhwa follows Lee Hyun Ho, an ordinary man from Korea, who gets reincarnated into Grand Prince Jinseong, younger brother of the tyrant King Yeonsangun. The main character knowing the history, tries to stop his brother from being a tyrant and make his a good king. He also uses his modern knowledge to help the people like making the soap, new food items and so on.

Overall, I Shall Live As a Prince Manhwa is a good story to read. It contains humor, tense moments, action, romance and adventure.

She Becomes Glamorous After The Engagement Annulment [ Web Novel ]

A friend (now an enemy) recommended me this novel and oh! my this is really generic.

The plot centers around the female character, who was previously very fat due to hormonal imbalance. She returns as very beautiful girl from aboard and face slaps every one by being a overpowered female character.

You can give it a shot if you haven’t read this kind of romance novels.
